hey guys! as you know i am in eight grade, and debating IB vs AP. so to make up my mind, i have created a challenge (for myself, but others can join if they feel!). we need to star looking at colleges and making up our minds people! i will be posting about a new college every chance i get, so along with the random stuff i post, i will be posting on colleges and universities!

poetry

at the beginning of the year i was in a drama class at school. we did a little something our teacher called a poetry slam. you would take the lyrics of a song and say them diferently. so i took the words of the wonderful "imagine" by john lennon. these words rang true in my head but sounded odd out of my mouth. i got a good grade but something wasn't right. sure these songs are beautiful poems, but they were meant to have music. without the musis they dont mean as much or have greater impact on people. its amazing how a sound can affect our personality. when i am feeling sad (usually about boys... cute boys...) i listen to sad songs which mean alot to me. the hit me somewhere only a song can. "imagine" hit me after watching (i know it sounds lame but...) animal cops. these poor poor souls were just lying there and ugh! anyway, if youre feeling blue, i garuntee you will be happier if you listen to a fast tempo song!

volleyball

so next week our school is holding volleyball tryouts! yes, i am trying out, but i highly doubt i will make the cut! i have not played in over a year, and that was my first year! oh no! yes, i am a little frightened, but thats life! how could we live, feeling satisfied with ourselves, if we didnt live on that little spark of... danger....? i got totally nerdy shoes for tryouts. volleyball shoes are super cool, but the toe guard? and white? oh well! i will look like a nerd but whatever!! i still love volleyball! ive already started giving myself bruises by hitting the ball around. not outsied, cuz my arms would freeze with all the snow!! its a snow day! yay sledding! have fun in the snow! i know i will tomorrow (skiing with my grandpa and daddie) and im super excited for the powder! im going on monday (presidents day) with meade and jessie! have fun playing volleyball in the snow (new sprt? i mean we have beach volleyball...)!

got my guitar!

for those of you that i have not told by now, i got my guitar. its nothing special, a regular, symmetrical, six string and its a good learning guitar! i love guitars and now im addicted to guitar (along with coffee, lipgloss, jessie, julie, becca, ally, sierra, meade, etc. etc) so yeah! i love you guys!
