The original bloggers
sometimes, being a trendsetter is super annoying. we don't wear these clothes, buy these books, or do our hair to have people follow us. we do it to be different. We do it so we can stand out from the incrowd, and let ourselves be free. so when i first started blogging, i thought it would be a trend people thought was too old to start up again. truth be told, i copied someone. i didn't start blogging on my ow. Miss Julian started, tastejulieslifesoup.blogspot.com. i was so jealous, but it had crossed my mind before. I'm more of a dreamer then a doer, and if i do do, i don't finish it unless i have to. I might be so enthusiastic about something, and then not even half way through, I lose all interest in it. I ugess thats just how life works. any whoo, she texted me to check out her blog, and immediatly after i made one. I started blogging about random stuff. then i forgot about it, bu twhen i did blog, it was 3-4 pages long. then when in LA i wrote a blog post that was seven pages long. It was about my two most amazing days, the day before, and the day of the dance. (you know why ;)) it took me seven days to write when on vacation. Sierra made a blog like the week after julie and i had ours. then ally decided to make one, too. Ally's bite out of life came to "My homie G's" weeks later i found out about Hannah's blog. so all in all, Julie started it. And thank you, but I'm addicted!

She's Back!
You guys have all heard of Lady Gaga. She's different, unique, "Special", all of the above, but what she really is, a hero. To some people she may just be the random girl who sat, friendless, in the back of the classroom, but to me, she's there. She doesn't care what the public thinks of her, and her outfits are outrageous. but behind all that creativity is a dark path. a deep dark path. you see, gaga wasn't always gaga. Behind those bright wigs is long black hair. someone thought she was trying to look like amy whinehouse, so she changed it. but before that, there was drugs. she had an abusive relationship with the monsters. she ran home to her grandmother, then went out in the world. she basically hit rockbottom, and had no where to go but up. Then came Lady Gaga. She went through heart break, so her songs about the ruthless murders of love are all true. i think the one song that gets to me the most is "Speechless." so when you see Lady Gaga make breaking headlines, don't look down on her for her crazy costumes, look up to her for her dark past. for all the reasons to make your way up the food chain in life.

Music
Do you ever get really sad, and decide to play a sad song that describes you? That one song that makes you feel like you aren't the only one going through this drama? I know I do. and I do it a little too much. You could've seen me four hours before at school, where I was bright and energetic, but now I'm in a slum mood, where all I want to do is sit in the corner and cry. But then a light came into my life. The light showed me that if i don't listen to all these sad, but meaningful songs, i might actually be happier. thats when i found our song. We were sitting on the bleachers when Jessie, Meade, and Hannah were singing it. It was the first song we heard together, therefore making it the song I play when i feel sad. its a sad song, but because its a fast tempo and he has a funny voice, it makes me smile. I feel like I can go back to my normal life ;) you're going to have to copy and paste it into your browser

this is sad...
When sitting on my couch, and blogging, i heard a song come on the TV. i looked up to see a Subaru commercial. "They say you never forget your first Subaru." The song was really catchy stuff, so i opened a new tab and looked up, "The Subaru Song," but a song from another Subaru commercial came up. then after some deep thought i looked up, "Your first Subaru Song" and i found "Powerful Stuff" by Sean Hayes. Ever since i put it on my groove shark playlist i haven't quit listening to it. copy and paste the link if it doesn't work.

scene stealers darts.
I stepped out of the car into the cold. As i entered through the tall black gates, i felt a tail thwack my leg and a ball drop at my feet. It was a familiar face, and her name was shadow. I walked up the pathway, nest to the cotton ghost we made for our Halloween party. It was early February, going on 7:15 PM , and Shadow wanted to play, but i was here to give Jessie a ride to scene stealer's.
Scene Stealer's is my second home. It's an acting, vocal, and dance studio. The owner, Mrs. Parsons, was my music teacher at my old elementary school, Roy Gomm. Her daughter, Miss Daniele, is a choreographer for the dance portion of the studio and she runs the acting part when Mrs. Parsons is gone. Miss Ally is the other teacher there. She went to Roy Gomm and to scene stealer's. she helps out around the studio, and helps with the acting.
IN the studio is a big family. The teachers are the parents, and the students are the kids that see each other once a week. as soon as you walk in, you are surrounded by hugs. "Hi! hey! Whats up?" is heard all over. The youngest people in our play are in seventh grade, and the oldest are high school seniors. Everyone knows each others names, characters, and favorite colors (thanks to Miss Ally).
I knocked on Jessie's door and pulled out my phone. I have a bad habit of texting when waiting. Jessie's dad answered the door and said "Oh , it's Tuesday, isn't it? Jessie needs to remind me to turn the lights on!" I simply smiled and laughed. Jessie came down the small staircase, script in hand, and hair in a pony tail. She gave her dad a hug and we walked down the pathway back to my dad's car.
"Hi Brock!" Jessie said when we got in. He said hi back and fumbled with the radio while Jessie and i had mindless chit chat in the backseat of the car. After we finished one subject i got out my phone to start texting. We didn't talk the rest of the car ride down Plumb Ln. because there was nothing left to say.
Jessie and I can sit in a room and not talk and not a word goes unsaid. We have known each other since we were three, but we only met in seventh grade. We took ski lessons together when we were three, had badge meetings for girl scouts when we were eight, we went to scene stealer's when we were eleven, but last year we finally met.
When we arrived at scene stealer's, we set our bags down on the shelf, and walked into the back studio. Hope, Torrey, Sabrina, and practically all the girls in the play practice back there before class. Noelle, Torrey, Hope, and Victoria were choreographing a dance to Britney's "toxic." Their tap shoes slided across the dance floor with ease. when i walked in Torrey ran over to Me and handed me a video camera while telling me to record their dance. i sat down with my back to the mirror that stretched across the wall. their movement started the moment the music started.
After i turned the camera off and handed it to Noelle, we left the back studio to go to the waiting room. the boys were all huddled around the desk, and the girls were watching the little girls perform. when the clock struck 7:30 the children who were practicing Annie marched out into the waiting room. we all stumbled into the big studio and found a place on the floor to sit.
after three scenes, Robbie and Sam had to get up to act out their scene in Havana where Sam is drunk, and Robbie is only there on a bet, but ends up falling in love with her. Robbie was writing in his blocking and making something clear, but out of nowhere a ballet slipper was flung to his head. he looked to miss ally who had an "i did it, but don't be mad" look on her face. meade and i turned towards eachother and burst into a fit of giggles. robbie looked so horrified that he stormed off into the bathroom. we were all cracking up and he came back in. he said "that was not funny. no more darts" we were in stitches by then. now, whenever we go to scene stealers, we always yell "DART!!!"
